TURNING THE CORNER, INC. JOINS CAEPV

Bloomington, IL (September 15, 2003): The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence is pleased to announce that Turning The Corner, Inc. joined as the newest Alliance member. The mission of Turning The Corner is to break the recurring pattern of domestic abuse by providing workshops, services and specific tools to survivors of domestic violence in order to foster healthy self-esteem and financial self-sufficiency. Nancy Salamone, founder of the organization, has a wonderful story to tell -- she is a woman from the corporate world with her own financial services firm -- and she "turned the corner" herself in 1991 in leaving an abusive marriage.
