TURNING THE CORNER, INC. JOINS CAEPV
Bloomington, IL (September 15, 2003): The Corporate Alliance to
End Partner Violence is pleased to announce that Turning The Corner,
Inc. joined as the newest Alliance member. The mission of Turning
The Corner is to break the recurring pattern of domestic abuse by
providing workshops, services and specific tools to survivors of
domestic violence in order to foster healthy self-esteem and financial
self-sufficiency. Nancy Salamone, founder of the organization, has
a wonderful story to tell -- she is a woman from the corporate world
with her own financial services firm -- and she "turned the
corner" herself in 1991 in leaving an abusive marriage. For

The Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence is a leading force
in the fight against intimate partner violence and its effects on
the workplace. It is the only national organization of its kind
founded by business leaders and focused on the workplace. Since
1995, the Alliance has brought together dozens of progressive companies
who exchange information, collaborate on projects, and use their
influence to instigate change. The Alliance offers extensive research,
policy knowledge and issue expertise to the business community,
including training, program guidance, and crisis consultation –
